In the background: busy mechanics are changing light bulbs and making sure that everything is set so that the cars can head off to their long-distance journey. Eight Mercedes-Benz 300 SL from our classic collection will race in this year’s Mille Miglia 2019 – 1,000 challenging miles on the historical roads of Italy. A big challenge – for both, the cars and the drivers. In the end, however, it’s all about having fun – or as Magnus Walker would put it, “Driving a classic car feels like freedom.”
