The 1000 Miglia is a legendary road race that used to take place between 1927 and 1957. At that time, 77 drivers entered the race. The Mille Miglia starts in Brescia and runs through Cervia, Rome, Bologna and ends again in Brescia. The goal was to cover the route as quickly as possible. The rally has been a classic car event since 1977. The most exciting thing is the long distance that the classic cars have to cover and the trips through city centres and slightly mountainous landscapes. Nowadays, the "motor sport" aspect has faded into the background - even though most people still like to test how fast they can cover the sections with their classic cars. Once a petrolhead, always a petrolhead!
